The topic this month will be: Dark Web

Cyber attacks are happening with everything everywhere and all at once. Organizations large and small are grappling with an exponential increase in vulnerabilities, exploits, and data breaches. They need better strategies to combat cyber security threats. Ramesh will review an in-depth overview of the Darknet and present strategies to model and mitigate risk at scale and present various platforms, tools & solutions for technology leaders to protect themselves and proactively mitigate such risks. Darknet provides a tremendous value add for organizations to understand threat actors and conversations about their organization, employees, execs, board members, and partners. The goal is to present tangible takeaways to protect businesses and preserve revenues and reputation.

Ramesh is the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at DarkOwl. He has over 25 years of technology and software engineering expertise.


He held various executive and technical leadership roles in companies such as CoreLogic, Phone.com, First American, AT&T, Liberty Mutual & Merck.

Ramesh has a broad and deep background in building enterprise-class systems, big data, risk modeling & real-time communication.  

At DarkOwl, Ramesh leads the product and engineering teams and responsible for data collections, processing and delivery of Darknet data to a variety of customers ranging from national security, law enforcement and a variety of customers in technology, data and machine learning space.
