Giving Tuesday: Giving Back to the Community
We are proud to have successfully launched the Interfaith Community Services app and redesigned website last week at Interfaith annual Giving Tuesday event! Held at the University Club downtown, Interfaith’s Giving Tuesday highlighted speakers and sponsors from across the organization, who shared stories about Interfaith’s incredible work in San Diego community. With the help of the Interfaith app, which makes donating to the organization faster and easier, just over $10,000 was generously raised throughout the evening.
The main focus of the app and site redesign centered around the implementation of several features, a custom dashboard for Interfaith employees, and creating an overall enhanced, more user-friendly mobile & desktop experience.
New features include a physical goods donation pickup scheduler, automated emails, and more seamless path for users to register for events, volunteer submit forms, and make monetary donations. Coming soon will be a live chat functionality for users to manage an ICS employee, and an improved volunteer registration experience.
The new app and website will not only reduce employee downtime spent hunting through emails, navigating acoss different sites, saving passwords, and managing content, but will also enable Interfaith’s patrons to more efficiently contribute, engage with, and stay involved in the organization’s effort to help others help themselves.
We are so excited to see all that Interfaith accomplishes with the help of the app in the new year.
